Hi, welcome to my website, my journey, and my passion.  My name is Anne Eppler, but my friends and family call me Annie Sprinkles.

I love what I do. My love for creating, junking, flea marketing, and DIYing started at a young age. My father George was the local junk man. He brought home many unusual and odd items. It began my love of treasuring hunting and upcycling. He also taught me ways to recycle and reuse things. I’m old school and proud of it. I have always been a free-spirited soul and a gypsy at heart.

I have been known to dumpster dive, curb shop, and trash pick items to use and repurpose for decorating. Some items needed repainting and decorating. That’s how my love for crafting began. The glue gun became my friend. Everyone loves pretty decor in their home. So I learned quickly a little glue goes a long way.

 

 How I became The Passionate Painted Lady

My painting journey began when I lost my hero, my first love-my dad in 2014.  I was lost and devastated.  I prayed and asked the good Lord to show me beauty again.  For some reason that path lead straight to painting furniture. To this day I cannot explain it, I just gave it to God. I had never painted a piece of furniture in my life. I consider myself a furniture rescuer.  We saved many pieces that otherwise would’ve ended up in a landfill.

So began the journey, in my living room.  Yes, in my living room.  It quickly became my passion.  My peace of mind.  My beauty in my soul.  Hence, I became known as “Passionate Painted Lady”.  This journey has become something I never would have dreamed possible.

Looking to the future

I have had ups and downs, ins and outs. I’ve also had support and love from my husband, Barry, the backbone I needed. Together we’ve painted over 1600 pieces. At first he thought I was crazy, but he always supported me. Once he jumped in, it became his passion also. His love and support has helped me grow into the person I am today. We love to share and inspire others along our way. I have always been a creative soul. Crafting, creating, and painting comes easily, I just have that type of mind.

 

My love for creating, crafting, and painting has led me on an amazing journey that I never thought was possible. I have met many amazing people and artists, online and in person.  I hope to continue to inspire others for many years to come. That is my true passion.
