#10 Ribbon
I absolutely love to use ribbon on a variety of projects. From making bows to embellishing a creation, to using ribbon to make a DIY hanger for hanging a sign, ribbon is an essential supply in my stash. When it comes to ribbon, buffalo check is my favorite!
#9 Scorch Marker
This marker is so amazing and is definitely something I like to keep on hand. It’s super simple and fun to use!
#8 Scissors
I think this is pretty much a no-brainer! I use a variety of scissors on different projects. Having at least one large pair and one small pair is essential to have in every crafter’s stash.
#7 Dauber Tips + #6 Mod Podge
These two go hand in hand for me because I use them together often. The dauber tips are amazing for putting small additions on a project. I use Mod Podge with the tips, to outline areas on my crafts and add happy glitter details to it. I use Mod Podge often for decoupaging or sealing certain crafts. These tips can also be used on 2 oz. paint bottles.
#5 Mini Iron
I LOVE my mini iron. For decoupaging, I often use the iron on method. Switching from a regular sized iron to this one was a great choice, it’s so handy and a lot easier to use.
#4 Decorative Napkins
I enjoy decoupage crafts, and napkins are a big essential when it comes to creating those projects. You could also keep some beautiful scrapbook paper or rice paper on hand to use. I like to use a variety of napkins though, and I have quite a large collection of them. 😄
#3 Hot Glue Gun + Sticks
I think this is another no-brainer. This is #3 on my list for a reason! I use my glue gun on almost all of my projects. Hot glue is so much faster at adhering projects together versus old school craft glue where you have to wait a certain period of time for it to dry. Efficiency is key!
#2 Paint Brushes
Painting is my favorite thing to do as a creator. I wouldn’t be called The Passionate Painted Lady without having my paint brushes and….
#1 Paint
Paint! This is my #1 MVP as a creator! I am able to create and transform all types of projects, and the freedom and ability to do that is so rewarding. I use acrylic paint, chalk paint, and spray paint often. I also use spray paint sealants and brush on sealants to finish my creations and give them added protection.
There’s my top 10 craft supply MVPs! I hope this gives you some great information on things to keep around in your craft room for creating! There is one more bonus item to be added to this list but it isn’t a physical item. It is CREATIVITY! When you’re a crafter, your creativity and inspirational ideas are so important and valuable. Keep that in mind and have fun with it! Happy crafting! 🙂
