I really enjoy using napkins to decoupage different items and add them to my collection of home decor pieces. One of my kind followers sent me happy mail that included some beautiful blue and white napkins, and I just had to make something cute with them for my kitchen!

I got this stand up mason jar item from Dollar Tree and decided to use it for this project. You can find various different mason jar signs and items there, and all of them would work to use for this.

When I began, I painted the mason jar white and let it dry. Once the paint was dry, I grabbed my handy container of Mod Podge and brushed on a thin layer, then used my heat gun to dry it. Once dry, I put a sheet of parchment paper over it then ironed to activate the Mod Podge adhering it.

Taking a pair of scissors, I trimmed the excess napkin off of the edges. I also cut another piece of the napkin to put on the bottom of it.

After brushing a light coat of Mod Podge on the bottom, I took my heat gun and dried it. Once dry, I put on the piece of cut napkin. I then placed the sheet of parchment paper on again and ironed it.

I took some twine and wrapped it around the lid area of the mason jar using hot glue to keep it in place. I bought this white heart lace ribbon a while ago at Dollar Tree, and I thought it would be a cute addition to my project. I cut a piece off and used hot glue to attach it on the neck of the jar.

There was little heart embellishment that came on the jar. I had taken it off earlier, and decided to put it on a piece of twine, then wrap it around the neck of the mason jar using hot glue to adhere it.

This was such a simple and beautiful craft project! There’s so many beautiful napkin designs that would look great on this piece.
